Major shakeups in the middle ranks of 'U.S. News' law school list

U.S. News & World Report's latest law school rankings are out, and Yale Law School has maintained its stranglehold on the top spot. But the real story was a high number of large jumps up or down the list by schools in the No. 50 to No. 144 range.



Former Senator Scott Brown joins Nixon Peabody as counsel

Former U.S. Senator Scott Brown (R-Mass.) has joined Nixon Peabody as counsel to the firm's Boston office with plans to specialize in governmental affairs related to the financial services industry and commercial real estate.



Feds spend big on outside legal work

Massachusetts suit against retailer requesting zip codes may go forward
