New Judge for the First Circuit

The Senate confirmed William Kayatta Jr. of Maine to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on Wednesday, making him the first new circuit judge to take the bench since June and the first federal judge confirmed during this session of Congress.

Pronounced Divisions at House Subcommittee Hearing on NLRB Recess Appointments

On the same day that President Obama renominated two members of the National Labor Relations Board, members of the House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions in a hearing this morning disagreed sharply over the validity of the board's actions and its future mandate.

Arnold & Porter Posts 14.3 Percent Jump in Gross Revenue in 2012
