After a four-year tenure marked by an increased focus on privacy and aggressive consumer protection, Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz announced today that he is stepping down on February 15.

Ed Koch, Combative Former NYC Mayor, Dies

Edward Koch, who presided over New York City as mayor during 12 tumultuous years in the late 1970s and 1980s, died this morning of congestive heart failure.

New Senate Subcommittee to Focus on Federal Courts and Bankruptcy System
