The U.S. Department of Justice has filed suit to block brewing giant Anheuser-Busch InBev's $20.1 billion acquisition of Grupo Modelo, arguing that the deal would result in higher beer prices and fewer choices for American consumers.



Toyota loses again in bid to force arbitration of Prius claims

A federal appeals court has struck down Toyota Motor Corp.'s attempt to arbitrate claims that it failed to inform consumers about defects in the anti-lock braking systems of certain Prius and Lexus vehicles.



Seventh Circuit stays contraception insurance mandate in second case

A federal appeals court has issued a second ruling staying the health care reform law's requirement that health insurance plans cover contraception and related services.

Circuit used wrong standard in DOMA ruling, brief argues

Seattle law dean leaving after three years

The dean of Seattle University School of Law will step down on June 30, after three years in the job. Citing family responsibilities, Mark Niles said he would return to the faculty at American University Washington College of Law, where he taught for 12 years before assuming the Seattle deanship in 2010.
